Company history
Fritz Walter Hundhausen starts out as an independent sales representative for plastic pipes in the supply and disposal sector. In 1964, the company begins its own production of pipes for drinking and industrial water supply made of PE-LD and PE-HD. 1970 F.W. Hundhausen GmbH & Co KG is officially founded in Ahausen near Bremen. The product range is expanded to include PVC pipes for domestic drainage and cable protection.
The construction of the production facilities in Werner-von-Siemens-Straße and Justus-von-Liebig-Straße in Achim marks an important milestone. Production capacity is being continuously expanded with these new plants.
The company is expanding the production hall in Plant 2 and significantly increasing its capacity. This expansion strengthens Hundhausen's market position in the field of plastics processing.
The commissioning of a new production line for PE-HD cable conduits represents a technological advance and consolidates the company's role as an innovative manufacturer in the industry.
With the addition of recycling products to its portfolio, Hundhausen is demonstrating its commitment to sustainability. These new solutions are primarily aimed at industrial applications.
Plant 2 in Justus-von-Liebig-Straße will be expanded to become the main production site, which will further strengthen production capacities and make central processes more efficient.
The portfolio is being expanded to include cable conduits made of PE-HD with an integrated pull-in cable. The company thus offers innovative solutions for laying cables in demanding applications.
The commissioning of a new production facility for PET material recycling is an important step towards a circular economy and resource conservation.
Hundhausen is expanding its portfolio to include geothermal probes and pipes as well as drinking water pipes. These new products enable environmentally friendly solutions in the field of energy generation.
